Iam honoured to become the new President of IBM Canada, in addition to my role as Managing Partner of IBM Consulting Canada. As a proud Canadian and 13-year veteran of IBM, I am excited to take on this important position.

At IBM, we know that when we apply innovation to real-world problems, we drive progress, for both business and society. Embracing the next chapter of digital transformation will be key to accelerating economic recovery in Canada. Hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence will play a significant part in helping private and public organizations further advance and contribute to our country’s progress, with a growing focus on environmental sustainability.

We help our clients run some of the most mission-critical systems around the world and here in Canada, including banks, airlines, mobile networks and essential services. These systems support modern society and by making them faster, more productive, and more secure, we don’t just make business work better, we are helping to make Canada work better.

To achieve this, we have a smart and caring team of IBMers across the country who have been working hard to help our clients and communities transform and thrive, especially as Canada navigates the pandemic.

I am immensely proud of my fellow IBMers, and I remain committed to building and growing our diverse team that is at the heart of IBM and our success. I have often referred to my teams as my professional family and fostering this sense of togetherness, meaningful collaboration and unwavering support for each other will always be a priority for me.

While we have faced much uncertainty these last two years, our collective strength and resilience have shone through. I am optimistic about the future and our ability to leverage technology, deep skills and human connections to solve complex challenges.

I am looking forward to serving our clients across Canada in my new capacity and to work with my colleagues to support our communities where we live and work.
